I haven't been here in about 15 years. Walking in here was like a time capsule; exactly how I remembered it. I used to come here as a kid with my grandparents.
Pretty good bite to eat with quick and friendly service. I got the single dog combo with fresh cut fries and a soda for 10. Only took a few minutes for my order to be ready and it was very tasty.
They have the best hotdogs and french fries.
The best double cheese burger in the entire east coast hands down. I work a few doors down and i get my lunch here 2-4 times a week and i gotta say i havent had an bad experience yet!
What can I say...I love hot dogs!! Deerhead continues to be my "GoTo" spot when I'm craving a dog!! They are a pinch pricey (9 and change for a hot dog combo) BUT it's important to support our local businesses to ensure they are able to remain open!!
They have the most amazing onion rings. I go there just for the onion rings. I will go out of my way for these delicious snacks. And I just found out that they have milkshakes also. Super yummy both of them.
I love Deerhead Hotdogs. I go every time I visit family. The hot dogs with their special meat sauce are out of this world. The fries are also delicious. Crispy and tasty. The service is great, even when they are busy. The place is always clean and the prices are great. Friendly staff round out a great stop for some wonderful hotdogs.
I would have taken a picture of my double dog with everything (I should have) but it went in my stomach too fast. I could not resist the kryptonite of this food. Excellent for all the traditional reasons. Onions were crispy fresh and bright Ketchup and mustart were not too heavy The sauce, OMG the sauce. In point and it made my day. Service was seriously fast and helpful for this first timer. (but not my first double dog). They bring your Oder to your table. A nice touch. The place had a steady stream of hot dog lovers. I watched a guy order two doubles and the ask how long was the foot-long. My kind of customers. It was a treat. No frills. Excellent experience. Back on my diet tomorrow.
